The Raven: Releasing What We Carry in the Dark - Guided Meditation & Sound Bath - $33

  • 312 South Catalina Avenue Redondo Beach, CA, 90277 United States (map)

Facilitator - Kristin White

For Halloween, we turn toward the shadows. Edgar Allan Poe’s haunting The Raven becomes our doorway into memory, loss and the thoughts that keep returning long after we wish they would leave. In this atmospheric meditation, we’ll explore what continues to knock at the door within us and what might happen if we finally turn toward it. We enter the darkness deliberately, not to remain there, but to see more clearly what we are ready to understand, release, and leave behind.

During the sound bath, you will relax into these nourishing feelings as you journey inward. Your meditation will be supported by the sounds of crystal singing bowls, Tibetan singing bowls, gongs, drums, chimes, and other ancient instruments.

This session concludes Between the Lines, our October series exploring four poets, four distinct themes, and four different paths inward through poetry, guided meditation, and sound. Please make a reservation is required as space is limited.

Please bring the items you need to lie down comfortably for an hour, including a yoga mat, pillow, blanket, and eye mask.

Doors open 5-10 minutes early to settle in. We will begin at the scheduled start time.

There is ample, free parking in our parking lot and on the street.
